| subject: Handheld Graphics / Rendering Programmer , LucasArts LucasArts is looking for Handheld Graphics / Rendering Programmer duration - Full Time Job details: Handheld Graphics / Rendering Programmer Major Responsibilities: Successful applicants will perform in the role of a Graphics Programmer for handheld platforms Provide technical expertise to develop games or technologies in support of games Reliably create good quality, performance-minded code Provide a complete and accurate task list and schedule for responsible work. Provide coaching skills to help develop less experienced engineers and assist them with the creation of their task lists and schedules. Share ideas and explore new practices to continually improve the quality of software development for the Company. Provide leadership and insight to help the team avoid and overcome obstacles. Maintain a professional attitude during all stages of development. Excel as a team member and strive to maximize team and departmental performance. Qualifications: 5+ years of C/C++ and object oriented design experience required Preferred experience in working with articulated bodies and/or physical animation Strong knowledge of 3D math required Required experience with graphics programming on current handheld or console platforms Preferred experience in lighting and shading techniques Preferred experience with game engine architecture Preferred experience in animation, particle systems, UI or physics programming Preferred experience with Maya or 3D Studio max 3+ years experience in the creation and delivery of state-of-the-art, performance-minded games required Shipped multiple titles on handheld or console platforms Ability to work independently and to be self-directing required Excellent team and communication skills required Location: San Francisco, CA, United States Contact info: Mail Your Resume: LucasArts Attn: Recruiting P.O.
