| subject: Graphics Programmer , The Collective The Collective is looking for Graphics Programmer duration - Full Time Job details: Graphics Programmer We are looking for someone to help our rendering dev team push our next-generation technology to the next level. The ideal candidate would have experience working on cutting-edge game engines and the ability to design, plan and program complex engine components. The candidate must also exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of understanding towards game technology production and significant experience working on shipped console projects. Job Responsibilities: Working with Lead Programmer, Producer, Designers, Artists, and QA Testers. Development of technical design specification, implementation and test plans. Programming of cross-platform game system technology to required coding standards. Testing, debugging and revision of game system technology. Profiling, performance-analysis, performance tuning. Providing mentorship to less senior programmers. Contributing innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development Job Requirements: Experience in the design and implementation of graphics related game systems, ranging from scene graph management to writing shader code. Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering. 3+ years experience in advance C++/OOP architecture design and implementation. 1+ years experience in console programming. Experience and good level of understanding in the field of advanced 3D mathematics, rendering and physics. Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Self-motivated and passionate about video games. Team player.
