| subject: Gameplay Engineer / Programmer , LucasArts LucasArts is looking for Gameplay Engineer / Programmer duration - Full Time Job details: Gameplay Engineer / Programmer Major Responsibilities: Successful applicants will develop gameplay related functionality (controls, camera movement, game rules, etc) in C++ and Python or other scripting languages. Interact closely with designers, artists, and animators to bring the vision of the game to life. Implement game AI functionality using core engine AI features. Co-develop tools with artists, animators, designers and our core programming staff Reliably create good quality, performance-minded code Provide a complete task list and schedule for responsible work. These should be complete and accurate. Assist in the sharing of ideas and exploration of new practices to continually improve the quality of game development within the Company Maintain a professional attitude during all stages of development Excel as a team member and strive to maximize team and departmental performance Qualifications: 3+ years experience in the creation and delivery of state-of-the-art, performance-minded games required Excellent working knowledge of C and C++ Solid 3D math background Preferred knowledge of AI FSM, fussy logic, expert system or neural network Knowledge a multithreaded environment is very helpful Have a strong work ethic and self motivated Positive Attitude Experience with Windows programming Preferred experience in working in an agile development environment Shipped multiple titles on target or related platforms Ability to work independently and to be self-directing required Excellent team and communication skills required B.Sc.
