The ITW unit has been designed to be at the forefront of embedding the strategy for Desk Based Account Management (DBAM) and Technical Specialists (DBTS) into the three Industry Vertical Directorates within Major Business. In essence, the ITW is a key enabler for the implementation of an Integrated Multi Channel approach. Job Description: The ITW has a number of DBTS roles becoming available along with a Technical Specialist Managerial role The responsibilities of the DBTS roles are:- Collaborative working with field teams on larger deals, including all elements of the sales process from bids through to implementation Technical support and advice to all channels / customers Closure of small to medium sized deals Up sell / cross sell on deals in their remit Future lead generation on the back of existing deals Defence of their relevant chapter within sector / directorate alignment. Candidate Specification: Knowledge either in ICT (IP infrastructure, Applications & Hosting) or BT core revenue portfolio (Calls, Lines, Private Circuits, Featurenet, Inbound & Conferencing.). A good level of business acumen and industry awareness will be expected as well as the ability to plan, organise & manage workloads with minimum supervision. Candidates will be excellent communicators with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Experience of sales and, or customer service background is preferable. Skills: Self motivated, strong communicator, good time management, customer service and/or sales/working to targets, business knowledge and industry awareness.
