The Customer Systems department is responsible for design and delivery of bespoke customer solutions. It is currently formed of two teams the e-solutions delivery: a team of consultants who work closely with customers, sales and technical development to advise on, define and document solutions requirements, and apply an overall project management to the delivery Technical Development: a team of system architects, developers and specialists, who offer detailed technical advice and analysis to all areas of the business including Market Planning and E-solutions, and deliver appropriate solutions as required using internal and external resource. As Manager of the Technical Development team, this role is key to the future of the department. As well as handling the day to day management of a busy development team overseeing projects, resource management, prioritisation, providing quotes and sizings for work etc the role holder will pay a key part in leading and shaping the team to reflect changing business needs. Paramount to the success of this role will be the ability to offer technical leadership and advice in a commercial environment, and play a full part in the development of the UK Custom solutions business. Key Skills were looking for Experience in Technical delivery of online products or solutions Min 2 years experience of managing a team Familiarity with and experience of Project Management methods and implementation Excellent communication skills able to engage with representatives from all areas of the business and customers.
