As a newly or recently qualified accountant, your role as Business Auditor will be integral to the delivery of this goal. Job Description: * In this newly created post, your focus will be on improving efficiency, recognising areas of risk and providing recommendations for improvements. * Crucial to this will be the delivery of solutions - not simply the identification of problems. * You will liaise closely with directors and senior managers, delivering a service which is aligned with business objectives and complete audits that focus on the big picture - achieving optimum control and tangible operational efficiencies. * In addition, you will work to identify additional revenue generating opportunities. (non levy income accounts for over 40% of total income) This unique role will therefore provide you with the chance to affect top and bottom line. Candidate Specification: * A newly or recently qualified accountant, you'll have commercial exposure in the private sector, including the use of formal accounting skills, together with significant systems and procedures analysis experience. This could be your first move out of the profession. * This post is innovative and challenging - you will be assertive, energetic and resilient, able to influence the business and add value. * You'll be operating with a wide range of finance and non finance specialists at all levels - so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are must. * The ability to travel throughout the UK to undertake audits or similar will be required on occasion. Skills: Newly or recently qualified accountant. Background in audit, assurance, compliance or risk management. Excellent communication skills - at all levels including director level.
