Tired of living cheque to cheque on freelance scraps? Ever wondered what happened to the days where being an animator was something prestigious and respected?! When work was plentiful and the job was secure?! Well my friend, you can have this at Fatkat Animation Studios! It"s like this: We have several immediate opening for In-House Flash Animators to fill our new larger studio. We need detailed-orientated, perfectionist personality type animators here at the Fatkat studio in Miramichi New Brunswick. You will be expected to produce all sorts of fun stuff depending on the position you're offered and the gig you're working on. Yeah that changes around a bit, but it's cool! It means you'll get to work in a variety of different processes if you like! ? From designing characters to doing effects animation, all on the coolest projects going! (Yeah we?re the guys that animate Happy Tree Friends). What we're really looking for are well rounded artists, folks who can not only animate but can produce a solid storyboard and design characters maybe even crank out an awesome background here and there. This is what we need you to have: 1. Canadian Citizenship or a landed immigrant status. 2. Great traditional animation skills and the portfolio, reel or website/blog to prove it. 3. 2-3 years of Flash Animation production experience (A must). 4. Post secondary training in Animation. 5. Experience in big budget productions or well recognized projects. 6. Must be willing to relocate to the beautiful Miramichi area. Want to know more?! No problem!
